These very STRATEGIES—nine (9) in all—function on a physical level and also on a psycho-social, or personal and relational, level. I call psycho-social fitness “resiliency.” Ten (10) training PRINCIPLES that operate in physical fitness also impact psycho-social fitness, or resiliency, indicating the processes by which the strategies develop. In addition, just as physical fitness spans all cultures and eras so is the Resiliency Fitness Paradigm™ universal and timeless.
Like so many of you, I have faced enormous challenges, adversities, and trauma in life. Through it all, I have sought recovery and resiliency both reactively and proactively. Along the way people expressed their impressions of me:

This means “learning to ensure our well-being through ways of living the best life we possibly can.” The “optimal experience strategies” or “the ways of living the best life we possibly can” refers to the signature theory that I present through HEROES—the Resiliency Fitness Paradigm™.
